Agile is one of the major techniques used to make flexible systems, even while allowing integration and maintenance.

In an Agile environment, it is very important to create a plan for growth or maintenance, and follow those plans. This has a major impact on the ability to evaluate and plan for automation, as you don’t have to manually go through an analysis of ongoing maintenance or upgrades and plan maintenance or upgrades after all.
